Dear Friends and Family,

We are so grateful for your continued prayers and support—this month has been especially meaningful for us.

Thanks to the generosity of our previous church, The Master’s Bible Church in Sedona, AZ, all three of us were able to take a short trip back to Sedona. While Jocelyn and Kane stayed behind in Sedona to visit with friends and family, Rune traveled on to California to attend the Shepherd’s Conference with Pastor Dean.

Pastor Dean and his wife, Jane, hold a special place in our family’s hearts, as the Lord used them in the year 2022 to help redeem and restore our marriage. They walked alongside us as new Christians, pouring their wisdom into us and helping us grow in the Word of God. So you can imagine what a gift it was to spend time with them again.

Rune had an enriching experience at the Shepherd’s Conference, which is held at John MacArthur’s church and designed to encourage pastors and inspire those who desire to become elders and serve in the local church. This year’s theme was “Proclaiming Christ to the Ends of the Earth,” with keynote speakers including Michael Reeves, H.B. Charles Jr., Paul Washer, and Conrad Mbewe, with Bob Kauflin leading worship. (If you’d like to watch any of these sermons, they are available on YouTube.)

The conference’s heavy focus on mission work was timely and encouraging for Rune as he steps into full-time ministry and leadership. One of the highlights was the worship—3,000 men lifting their voices in praise to the Lord, accompanied by an orchestra and choir. Rune returned refreshed, encouraged, and even more excited about the work God is doing through him at His Mansion.

Since returning to New Hampshire, Rune has continued overseeing the orientation of the new male residents who entered the program at His Mansion. Last month, nine men and three women joined. Please keep them in your prayers as they begin this journey.

Additionally, three of the five men who graduated last month will return to His Mansion as Servant Leaders after spending some time with their families. The Servant Leader Program is a one-year discipleship program that equips volunteers to serve and walk alongside residents in recovery. Two of these men have already returned, while the third will come back after undergoing much-needed back surgery.

As we continue in this season of service, we are so thankful for each of you who lift our family and this ministry up in prayer. Please pray for continued wisdom, compassion, and discernment in our roles, and that our home would be a place of encouragement for those we serve.

With love and appreciation,

Rune, Jocelyn, and Kane

This Month, Please Pray For:

  • The nine new male residents and three new female residents who joined the program last month. Some of them do not yet know the Lord—please pray that God will grant them the free gift of faith and repentance.

  • Two of the three male graduates who have returned as Servant Leaders (SLs). Pray that the Lord will give them wisdom and compassion as they step into this new role of serving others.

  • The third graduate, who is recovering at home after back surgery last week. Pray for a swift recovery and that he will not fall into temptation during this season of idleness but will remain steadfast in his faith.

  • Rune, that he will continue to grow in leadership according to God’s Word—balancing wisdom and compassion as he walks alongside these men, helping them grow. Pray for daily discernment in his ministry.

  • Jocelyn and Kane as they continue their homeschooling journey—that the Lord will guide and strengthen them.

  • Jocelyn, as she embraces ministry opportunities by opening up their home to the women in the program. Pray that it will be a place of encouragement and discipleship.

  • Praise the Lord! Kane is starting to make new friends at church! Thank you for your prayers!
