Helping those who struggle with addiction
to heal through
the power of the gospel
at His Mansion Ministries

The Lekkerkerker Family next to the cross at His Mansion Ministries.

We are excited to share the direction God has called us to, as we serve

at His Mansion Ministries in Deering, New Hampshire.

I, Rune, have been blessed with the opportunity to serve as the Men’s Program Administrator at His Mansion Ministries, a Christian residential recovery center dedicated to helping young men overcome addiction and life’s many challenges. This is not just my mission—it's our family's mission, and we are eager to make a difference in the lives of those we will serve.

Why His Mansion Ministries?

His Mansion Ministries has been a beacon of hope for over 50 years, providing a safe and supportive environment where individuals can find healing and rediscover their purpose through the love of Jesus Christ. The ministry’s approach starts with the Gospel, and combines biblical teachings, counseling, mentoring, and practical life skills training, all aimed at empowering individuals to overcome their past and embrace a new future in Christ.

As the Men’s Program Administrator, my role is to oversee the daily operations of the program and lead both the residents and servant leaders in further pursuit of their relationship with Jesus Christ. Ensuring that each resident receives the care, guidance, and support they need through praying, teaching, and counseling.

Our Ministry Work at His Mansion

At His Mansion, I will be working with men who are struggling with addiction, trauma, and other life challenges. Our goal is to help them find restoration and a renewal through faith in Christ.

Through my role, I will be assisting in the programs that address the spiritual, emotional, and physical needs of the men in our care. This includes Bible studies, providing counseling, mentoring, and facilitating life-skills training. My wife and son will also be involved, offering support through hospitality, prayer, and building relationships with the residents and their families.

Our work is grounded in the truth of Scripture, particularly

Ephesians 4:17-32, which speaks to the renewal of the mind and living a life worthy of our calling. We are committed to helping these men break free from their past and walk in the newness of life that Christ offers.
